Alison began her cycling career in January 2008. By mid-year, she found herself in her first major stage race, the Nature Valley Grand Prix, just a few months removed from her debut as a category 4 rider. Alison turned heads with a 10th place finish overall. She continued her rapid development in 2009, scoring several wins with solo escapes, as well as podium placings at several international races while racing with the U.S. Women’s National Development Team. In 2010, that development should continue.
